What is your guest capacity?
We can accommodate up to 150 guests indoors. Please inquire with a staff member of The Hay Loft if you plan on having more than 150 guests.

9am-11pm 

Do you have outdoor ceremony options?
Yes, our Timber Frame Pavilion along Miners Creek, provides a breathtaking setting for your ceremony. The serene sound of Miners Creek, and the backdrop of Bristol Head and Shallow Creek create an unforgettable experience!

Can we bring in our own caterer?
Yes, you are welcome to use any caterer of your liking! Please note, that they must be a licensed caterer and provide proof of insurance. 

Can we bring in our own alcohol?
Yes, you may bring in your own alcohol. The alcohol must be served by  certified bartenders provided by The Hay Loft. We offer several Bar and Beverage Packages for serving your alcohol.
 
Do you require a Wedding Planner?
Yes, we require a month of wedding coordinator to help your day go smoothly. They are responsible for a lot more than you may think. 

Do you allow pets on property?
Yes, we welcome pets to be a part of your special day! A maximum of two pets are allowed in your ceremony. We kindly ask that you clean up after your furry friends and keep them on a leash.

Do you offer on-site parking?
Yes, we offer unlimited, complimentary on-site parking for standard vehicles. Safety is important to us, therefore, you and your guests may leave your vehicles overnight if needed. All vehicles must be picked up by 10am the next day. 

Do you offer day use rental of the cabin?
Yes, please inquire to learn more. 

What is your smoking policy?
Smoking is permitted outside in designated smoking areas only.

What is your decorating policy?
All decorations must be approved by The Hay Loft at Creede and not cause any damage to our venue. No screws, nails, tacks or damaging tape or hooks may be used. Candles must be battery operated or in an enclosed container.  We ask that flower petals, bubbles, and birdseed be used over rice, confetti and glitter. 

Are guests allowed to enter the pasture and visit the horses?
We have two enhancements that feature horses and these can be added to your wedding package. You and your guests are welcome to take photos of the horses on property.

Who is responsible for cleaning the venue?
Your wedding coordinator and team is responsible for clean up. 

What are the dimensions of your spaces? 
The Hay Loft is 2,100 sq. ft. of usable space, the Covered Bridge is 580 sq. ft., the Covered Balcony is 600 sq. ft., and the Pavilion is 1,500 sq. ft.

Do you require liability insurance?
Wedding Insurance is required for your event and proof of insurance must be provided to The Hay Loft at Creede a minimum of sixty (60) days prior to your event. Insurance must include; General liability insurance for a minimum of 1 million dollars. Optional Wedding Cancellation insurance is suggested, but not required.  We suggest using Eventsured.
