What is your guest capacity?
We can accommodate up to 150 guests indoors. Please inquire with a staff member of The Hay Loft if you plan on having more than 150 guests.  

What are the operating hours of the venue? 
11am-11pm 

Do you have outdoor ceremony options?
Yes, we have several beautiful outdoor ceremony sites along Miners Creek. It's said in Colorado,  “If you don’t like the weather, wait 20 minutes and the weather will change.”  Our Timber Pavilion serves as a covered site for inclement weather. The Timber Pavilion's anticipated completion date is Fall 2024. 

Can we bring in our own caterer?
Yes, you are welcome to use any caterer of your liking! Please note, that they must be a licensed caterer and provide proof of insurance. 

Do you require a Wedding Planner?
Yes, we require a month of wedding coordinator to help your day go smoothly.    

Do you allow pets on property?
Yes, we welcome fur babies to be a part of your special day!  A maximum of two pets are allowed in your ceremony.  We kindly ask that you clean up after your furry friends.

Do you offer on-site parking?
Yes, we offer complimentary on-site parking for standard vehicles. Safety is important to us, therefore, you and your guests may leave your vehicles overnight if needed. All vehicles must be picked up by 10am the next day. 

Do you offer day use rental of the cabin?
Yes, please inquire to learn more. 

What is your smoking policy?
Smoking is permitted outside in designated smoking areas only.

What is your decorating policy?
All decorations must be approved by The Hay Loft at Creede and not cause any damage to our venue. No screws, nails, tacks or damaging tape or hooks may be used.  Candles must be battery operated or in an enclosed container.  We ask that flower petals, bubbles, and birdseed be used over rice, confetti and glitter. 

Are guests allowed to enter the pasture and visit the horses?
We have two enhancements that feature horses and these can be added to your wedding package. You and your guests are welcome to take photos of the horses on property but we ask that you admire them from a distance.

Who is responsible for cleaning the venue?
Please leave the venue how you found it. 

Do you require liability insurance?
Wedding Insurance is required for your event and proof of insurance must be provided to The Hay Loft at Creede a minimum of sixty (60) days prior to your event. Insurance must include; General liability insurance for a minimum of  1 million dollars. Optional Wedding Cancellation insurance is suggested, but not required.  We suggest using Eventsured.
